W.E. aims to establish connections, pass on experience, and help young women find their leadership styles. Women in Tech, the second event in our W.E series, was a resounding success. Our wonderful panelists So Hang Chan, Maria Hristova, Lydia Jin, and Catherine Liu, provided great insights on what we can do to succeed in our career goals. Even though their experience was primarily in the tech industry, many of the lessons and stories they shared could be applied by anyone who wants to advance to a leadership position over the course of their career. Inspired by the great panel discussion, our participants enjoyed an opportunity to discuss what they learned and to make connections with like-minded peers which will help them for years to come.

Ukrainian Welcoming Dinner

On December 19th, Leader Circle hosted the first-of-its-kind cross-cultural event, ๐๐ค๐ซ๐๐ข๐ง๐ข๐๐ง ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ข๐ง๐ง๐๐ซ, with 50 Ukrainian families. Twenty volunteers from Leader Circle who participated in this event were willing to help those Ukrainian families with their experience of starting a new life in Canada.
It was a privilege to host such a great networking event that allowed us to listen to the stories of those Ukrainian families and create an occasion where the new and existing Ukrainians who lived in Canada could build connections.

Dragon boating is one of the world’s largest and fastest-growing water sports, with an ancient Chinese past and a promising future. Boating is the ultimate team sport, 20 paddlers work together in unison to move the boat forward quickly and smoothly. It is about building harmony, sportsmanship, and a feeling of camaraderie!

On September 18th, we were thrilled to host ๐๐๐๐๐๐ซ ๐๐ข๐ซ๐๐ฅ๐โ๐ฌ ๐๐ข๐ซ๐ฌ๐ญ-๐๐ฏ๐๐ซ ๐๐ซ๐ฎ๐ข๐ฌ๐ ๐๐ฏ๐๐ง๐ญ. In this one-of-a-kind experience, 170 participants, who root in diverse sectors – Banking, Big Data, Consulting, and Marketing, shared their insights and strengthened connections with talents in their respective professional areas. The strong expression of enthusiasm and whole-heartedly involvement shown by every participant inspire us to continuously build a close-knit community of professionals.
