Echo Han
Founder
Echo Han is the founder of Leader Circle and a passionate builder at the intersection of technology and finance.
Echo founded Leader Circle to create a space where professionals can grow together—as leaders, collaborators, and change-makers. She holds a Computer Science degree from the University of Waterloo and an MBA in Financial Engineering from the Schulich School of Business.
She believes in building with purpose—and in leading by lifting others.
Echo has over a decade of experience building full-stack software solutions across pension fund, capital markets, and front-office trading. She has designed and implemented Python-based data analytics tools, large-scale ETL pipelines, and real-time applications that support everything from risk control to portfolio analytics. With deep expertise in Python, SQL, React, and C#, she brings both technical precision and strategic insight to every project.
Grace Huang
Co-founder and Board Director of Professional Development
Grace is the co-founder and Board Director of Professional Development at Leader Circle. She believes in empowering professionals through mentorship, networking, and skills development. Her passion for volunteering stems from a desire to support the community and continuously upskill herself by learning from others’ inspiring stories.
Grace holds the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designation and a Master of Management Analytics from Queen’s University.
Professionals can grow together—sharing knowledge, experiences, and encouragement along the way.
Alongside her volunteer work, Grace is a seasoned leader in risk analytics and credit strategy. She leads a team in monitoring portfolio trends and developing credit strategies that strengthen credit quality and drive business growth. With expertise in data analytics and credit risk modeling, Grace turns complex data into actionable insights and tells compelling stories that support strategic decision-making.
Marina Xiao
Board Director & Treasurer
Marina Xiao is the Co-Founder, Board Director, and Treasurer of Leader Circle, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women, immigrants, and visible minorities through sustainable and impactful initiatives. With over a decade of volunteer service, Marina lives by the principle of “能帮就帮”—offering help whenever possible—and is deeply committed to creating efficient, lasting change in the community.
Marina’s leadership, dedication to inclusivity, and financial acumen continue to shape Leader Circle’s mission and impact.
Professionally, Marina brings nearly a decade of experience in treasury and risk management, along with a strong background in project management. She has played a key role as a Subject Matter Expert and Product Owner in system integration projects, leveraging her strategic mindset and operational expertise to drive cross-functional success.
